Crikey Deakon, you must be getting married that weekend. I can't think of any better reason not to go. I would be interested, but I already got mine :)

There may only be four Phantoms but that beats 40 F16's hands down - shame its only a static display!

It's my biggest wish to return to that specticle someday. I just have to get back to England... By comparison, any other airshow is boring. I have zillions of R.I.A.T. photographs from years '91 - '97 on my website. BTW, do the Russians and Ukrainians participate like they did in the mid-90's???

Pat
Check out the RIAT website from link supplied by U96 ,and that will give you
the complete listingof this years participants.
It does not look like the mig count will be as high as it was in the 90's, mainly due to the fact that a lot of the older types are no longer operated .
I was at 94, and that was great.
I never thought I would see Mig 21's and SU25's on UK soil !
So prepare to see even more refurbished F16A's (GROAN) and Gripens(not so bad) appearing at European shows.
Pat, were you Mildenhall or Lakenheath based?

RAF Alconbury 1990 - 1992. I then went to Ramstein, but I jumped on British Airways every year until the Air Force returned me to the U.S. in October 1997. The best years (for me) were the two years the Russians flew the Tu-95's in.
