Thank you Mr. Boyer for responding to my post, however I am only working on Hasegawa's 1:200 kit. I'll just use the mix ratio provided with the instructions. Maybe if I do a 1:48 scale 747 I'll borrow your paint chip!! (HA HA). Thank you again.

Actually, they did mix special paint for the VIP aircraft. I was able to obtain paint chips from Boeing, and had a small batch of the paint mixed by Loren Buzewitz of Colors for Miniatures. I have a couple of bottles of each blue left, and if you want some, we can make arrangements. E-mail me direct: pboyer at finescale.com (replace "at" with the @ symbol).

The CFM paint is airbrush ready and an arcylic enamel, so although not water-based, it dries quickly and should affect plastic.

Hey guys,
Does anybody know if there are federal stock numbers for the dark and light blues on Air Force One? Any help will be greatly appreciated. (please don't say I have abuddy who works in the paint shop and they mix their own!!! HA HA!) Thanx
