                        I've seen lots of posts involving the B-17. Does anyone know of a Coast Guard conversion kit? The "G" model was used. The chin turret was replaced with a radome, the guns and turrets removed, and a fairly large boat was carried under the fuselage
                        to be dropped to survivors. Scratchbuilders? Manufacturers?

                        Not sure if it's exactly what you want, Ray, but Academy has a SB-17 in its catalogue (1/72). Hannants has that kit for £17.99 here in the UK.

                        Paragon produced a conversion kit in 1/72 and 1/48 for the Monogram B-17G kit, but they are both out of production. They show up from time to time on eBay.
