I was there. Got the photos and sunburn to prove it. Photos will be posted on my website as soon as possible. BTW, it was a great airshow!

The Glacier Girl is the P-38 recovered from under 260 feet of ice on the Greenland icecap after being there for 50 years. It took 10 years to restore her, and they flew it for the first time last October, and will fly again in the air show at Middlesboro, KY in September.

Anyone going to the Dayton Air show this weekend will get the opportunity to see the "Glacier Girl". They are flying her up from Middlesboro, KY, and she will be in Hall of Fame museum display, but will not fly at the air show.
