Using Americana acrylics
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, July 19, 2003 4:51 AM
Hello all,
This is my first post on this forum.
Most of the models I build are for wargaming purposes so I haven't done many aircraft. I would like to put more time into the current model I'm building, a 1/72 scale F22.

My question is this- how to get a uniform, completely opaque coat with acrylics (no airbrush)?

Also, is it possible to use paints such as Americana(the kind that come in 2 oz bottles) succesfully or are they not sutible?

Thank you,
Ronen

I only brush those paints. They seem too thick for me to thin properly.

You might want to try the painting/technique forums instead.

Good Luck,
