Hi Duckman i would go or an early jet, wooden construction would be quite a challenge and the geodetic construction of the wellesley hat you mentioned would be a real bear to do. out of you list i would go for the Yak-3, if you wanted to really go for it you could scratchbuild an engine complete with bearers and the anciliaries, that would be hard work but would look great ...Greg
