Good Day,

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find info or a kit of the C-133 Cargomaster in 1:72. I'm trying to find info on which is the best possible kit of this out there. Can anyone give some advice??

Yes, contact Gene Hooker at sherwoodchatfield@yahoo.com, February 2017, about his 1/72 plastic vacuform kit.. the most accurate representation of the aircraft in model form

True, it is hard to find info....but for me i think its worth seeing whether the Rick's Vac are the same as Tyson and Combat Models, as maybe the money is worth it for a better kit with detail parts...

The Combat/Roberts models says its a plane kit These are very Basic Vacform kits, none come with decals or metal parts -
many details must be made or from the spares box
OR.
ROBERTS MODELS Makes Parts sets for most of these kits
other than that i have know idea if the 2 are one in the same check them both out for 39 doller US and all you get is fusalage and wings

Good Day,

I was speaking to a friend and he is in line getting a Rick's Vac C-133 in 1:72 which includes details and other goodies. Is there any relation between this Rick's Vac kit and the one you mention? I am wondering what the main differences are and which is the best one...can you help??

Back in the mid-eighties a guy by the name of Gene Hooker created and released a vacuform kit of the C-133.  That's where the Combat Models kit came from.  That's all there is in 72nd scale.  I built one -- not for the cowardly modeler.  A photo of it can be found in a FSM Reader's Gallery many, many years ago.
