I have spoken to hom about the Pak-20 guide, but i think a copy of the "The Collectors Value Guide" would be a nice resource to have. Can anyone direct me to someone who might be selling the 2000 edition iof this book?

I just got my update yesterday.  His current project is "Plastic Aircraft Kits of the 20th Century (and Beyond)"  or the PAK20 for short.  Around 2000 he had the 7th edition of "The Collectors Value Guide", but he seems to be moving away from everything but aircraft.  He's been updating the Pak-20 yearly since it's first publication in 2003.

He also publishes a quarterly magazine called the "Kit Collector's Clearinghouse" or KCC for short.

As far as its value, it depends on what sort of information you're looking for.  It's primarily a guide for model collectors, so he lists models and their approximate value among collectors.  He also has some historical information on each kit maker, which I find interesting.  I got the guide because I've been selling off collections on Ebay and other places.

He advertises in one of the modeling magazines plus in the IPMS Journal.  His contact info is:

John W. Burns
3213 Hardy Dr.
Edmond, OK 73013
(405)341-4640

his e-mail is cheersjb "at" swbell.net

I replaced the @ symbol with the "at" so he doesn't get spammed when the spammers bots harvest this forum.
