I was reading the forums and i saw a post on a F-51?

What is a F-51? Is there even such a thing? or did someone just make a mistake?

hey shark the f-51 aka p-51 mustang is a south korean & austrailian version the is no diferances between the f-51 or the p-51 except the contries that built them

Sorry, duckman, but that's not it. The F-51 designation came in the late 40's after the USAF had become a separate service. All fighter aircraft in active service with the Air Force had the Pursuit "P" replaced by the "F" Fighter prefix. Hope this helps. - Ed
