Raiden in the Night
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, July 30, 2003 8:43 AM
I need a picture of a pilot, in color, taken from the proper angle to finish this picture. Does anyone know of a source for this? He would need to be wearing a Japanese uniform. He need not be Asian, as I can change the face. Can anyone help?

Good-lookin' Raiden, Pixilator! That's my all-time favorite Japanese aircraft.
Samurai Jack!
I can't tell, though: is it a plastic model, or a digital model? Looks great either way.
Oh, and uh, sorry...don't know of any sources offhand.
Have you tried poking around some Japanese avaiation sites? You might be able to pull a guy right out of a cockpit somewhere!
Good luck.

That's the Hasegawa Raiden in 48th scale, with Squadron canopy and Eduard photo-etch. It's a digital shot of the sky and plane. I use a Canon Power Shot G2 and I LOVE it ! Thanks for the compliment ! I appreciate it. I had to put myself behind the stick of this DML FW 190 A4.

Sorry about the image size on the 190 (2272 x 1704 pixels) I clicked on it and it fills the screen. Next time Ill resize the image. Apologies if it caused any problems. Bill.

Thanks, Woody. I'll check it out. So far, the only uniforms I have found are battered remnants mounted on coathangers. Not very realistic if you want to incorporate them into a composition. Maybe your link will be fruitful. Thanks much, Pix.

These guys should be able to help you. You may have to send them an e-mail or a message on the want ads. But this place is the best.

Woody - I just went over there and registered. I didn't have much time to stay. A lot of familiar names. Thanks ! Thanks, bernndye ! What a great site ! If it wasn't for the help of everyone here on this site, I'd be spending all my time surfing for info with no time left for models or pictures. Your grateful friend, Pix.
