i try to learn from my "mistakes"

I hope that this image is more plausible than the last "Scratch One Hellcat." To all who listed the Hellcat as their favorite, my sincerest apologies. I love both the Raiden AND the Hellcat, so those who share my likings will be as happy / sad as I.

B&W is no problem. All I have to do is use "desaturate." I've done these in color because most of the pics of WW II that I see are B&W. I could probably make them more realistic if I overexpose, or put the subject in the center, or have it grainy and out of focus. That pretty much describes the majority of the images from that period that I've seen. I've got one of the reissued Monogram Wright Flyers, which I was planning to build before the 100th anniveersary. Maybe I'll do a sepia-tone shot of the first take-off ( ala famous photo ) to post on that day. Till then, nandman, maybe I'll try a Russian Winter shot in B&W. My photography theme last winter was snow and ice, so I have about 350 B&W winter shots. There's an idea ! Thanks, nandman !

How about a Nakajima J1N1 Gekko or two climing to meet some B-29s over Nagoya?

I have a J1N1 kit, but its the Jaguar resin kit. That one will require some time on the "assembly line." I bought it before the Tamiya kit was released, and after spending $ 100. on the kit, I'd rather build it before buying another. Sadly, I have no B29 kits. I only bulid 1/48, and with a B17, B24, B25, B26, Catalina, C47, Ju52, He 111, Ju88, and others left to build, I need to move before I can display them. Anyone know of a factory for rent ? Cheap ? Fixer-Upper ?
