A lot of people stated that their favorite aviation movie was "The Right Stuff," so I thought I'd share my Eduard Bell X 1. It's the Profi-pack version. This kit has great resin & photo-etch "stuff." The X 1 was my favorite part of that movie.

Hey Pix,
That is one sweet lookin X-1. The Bell plant is about a 20 minute drive from where I live!!
If ya need any reference pics just give me a shout. I guess thats one perk to having grandfather that worked at the plant as a "line supervisor" from 39-45Blush [:I]

Hey, Butz, I do have a MPM P63A in the closet. I built their 63C in Rusky markings. I want to do the A in US. I have a few pics of Frank Borman's restored Kingcobra (INCREDIBLE !), but you know that mags like "Air Classics" never show anything as mundane as a wheel well, etc. Do you have any shots of the gear & wells ? I'm in no hurry, as that kit is a difficult build for me. At least it comes with resin & a vac canopy, though. I'll see if I can take a shot of the 63C from an angle where its not so bad (NOT one of my better builds !) Thanks for the compliment, its appreciated. Pix
