Glad you all liked the photos, it was nice to see a B-17G up close with very few people around.
No pics of the cockpit, sorry. The pilot was in the seat and they were going to be taking off for a ride with the lucky people who paid $420 for a ride. Wish I could have done it but the wife would make me sleep in the garage if I did. Laugh [(-D]

Ed,

I used my Fuji Fine Pix S5200 camera that I bought back in December.
It is the best camera under $350 that you will find in my opinion.
In fact I think it rivals many cameras costing over $500.

It's nice to see her on tour again. This last winter she had a mishap while landing at an airport in Texas and damaging her underside when the landing gear collapsed.I'm lucky to live a few miles from Oshkosh where she is hangered at the EAA museum when not on tour.I get to see her and other warbirds from the EAA museum in Oshkosh flying all the time. It's great to see and hear that there are still people out there that still appreciate how great these planes were in their day. Thanks for the photos Mike.

Beautiful.  We had one in the St. Louis area last year and you could go through the interior.  Boy was it cramped.  I had always imagined the interior to be at least a little bit roomy.

During the summer 2004 I spent the day on "Return To Glory" at March Field (see my thresd on Calif Weather here in aircraft) I was amazed at the size =of it & when I was inside I could only stand up in a few places.

Well I went by the municiple airport and there she was sitting on display with only a small group of people around her. I was surprised to hear that there are 13 or 14 B-17s still flying. Cool! Cool [8D]
Here are some of the 40 something photos I took of her.
