Fujimi's F-86F is the best Sabre in 1/72 scale. I reviewed it in FSM way back when it first came out. The Hobbycraft Canada/Academy Sabres are basically copies of the Fujimi, but not quite as finely detailed.
Fujimi Sabres come with two different wings:
"6-3" wing (hard leading edge) with standard span and no slats
"F-40" wing with increased span and slats (but they are not molded separately
The Hobbycraft Sabres are molded with two wings:
"6-3" wing (hard leading edge) with standard span and no slats
"Canadair Mk.6" wing (standard span with slats, and HC molded them separately.
The Sabre wing saga is a quagmire, complicated by the fact that many Sabres were retrofitted with later wings as they served.
