Well, as long as Lawrence Hansen or David Voss don't chuck a wobbly (have a fit) I'll scan them and email them to you - might have to .zip the file, can you handle that?

There are quite a few companies around who will custom etch metal to your artwork - check out www.yellowpages.com and do a search for your state (or interstate). There's a company here in Oz that does very good work - I can provide their email address for you to contact them direct if you want. Let me know.
Also, Model Car Garage makes some very good photo etched stuff for many different makes and models - have a look at their website at:

http://www.modelcargarage.com/mcg_main.cfm

There are at least two very good articles in FSM on photoetching
FSM July 1991
Photoetching for modelers
by Paul Budzik
Creating a bas-relief instrument panel at home

or

FSM September 1993
Photoetching brass detail parts at home
by Rusty White
This step-by-step process produces quality parts

If you don't have either mag, either back order them (if they're available) or email me, and if Lawrence Hansen doesn't mind, I'll scan the articles and email them to you.
What about it, Lawrence - ok with you?

Photoetch Help Please

Hi, there's this big kit I'm building. For one of the emblem, the kit provides a decal for it. But I want a metalic solid look for it. Anyone know how to make photoetched parts/ how to. Or is there any companies that'll custom make photoetched parts? Thanks.
