ALL RIGHT!!!!Big Smile [:D]

Welcome to the forums.
Dean, it's good to hear there's someone else over here!
Surely there must be more modelin' folks in these forums living in Japan. It'll be nice to have someone to corroborate my stories!

Been here long?

Hit me with some e-mail!
I'm down in Namba, so were practically neighbors (well, about 45 minutes apart, anyway.) Some cool shops in Umeda and Shin-Osaka I can show ya. If ya don't already know 'em!Wink [;)]

All I can say is "OOH, OOH, OOH" and - how long will it take for the detail sets to start appearing?

I won't worry too much about the detail. Someone will come out with resin and PE :)

Anthony, that link's been tossed around for awhile, but thanks! And yeah, it does look groovy...

Should the Wolf switch to braille scale?

You folks can check this out at:

Looks very good to me. Seems to be very detail, only with some punch mark on the exhaustion nozzle.

Glad to hear they're popping up worldwide!
Still haven't gone back to the shop...hope it's still there!

My birthday isn't until the end of September, though...and my girlfriend adamantly refuses to buy me ANY models! "You've got too many in the closet already," she says!
Can you believe that?!?!??!

No such thing as "too many," I tell her!

I was never a big fan of the 105's, but I do like the big kits. I just may have to pick one up. Thanks for the heads up, Hulk!

I stopped in at the hobby shop two days ago and there they were the big boys.
He got in both the "D" and "G" variants. Price tag is around $124 or so.
Very impressive lookin even though I am not into the brail scale yet.One might look good in my collection thoughTongue [:P]Wink [;)].
Flaps up, Mike

If you would listen to everybody about the inaccuracies, most of the kits on your shelf would not have been built Too Close For Guns, Switching To Finger

Trumpeter 1/32 F-105 on the shelves! (In Japan!)

Hi, folks.
Popped into one of my favorite Osaka hobby shops today to pick up a Hold 'n' Fold (wouldn't ya know it, none in stock right now!) and lo and behold, was confronted with both the F-105D and F-105G Trumpeter kits, the size of suitcases!
Both appropriately priced at 10,500 yen ($89 US).

I don't know what this means for overseas availability or pricing, but thought ya'll like to know.

It looks mighty good in the box, I can tell you that!
