It's not a bad little kit, my son is building it, the parts are a bit thick but it goes together fine and you get a decent rendition of a classic plane!  Big Smile [:D]

I've never built it, but there was an article in FSM a few years back (in the 2003 issues I'm pretty sure) that was really good regarding building the kit and extra work that needs to be done to really make it nice.

It's old, odd scale and has all the problems inherent with a biplane (more so in fact, most biplanes have a fuselage) but if you want an injected model of the Wright Flyer, it's the only game in town.  I built one years ago (and have one of the re-releases currently in the stash).  My suggestion is to dig back the the last year or twos copies of FSM.  They published an article on accurizing the kit.

I recently pickup a Revell 1/39 (old monogram box scale?) Wright Flyer. Does any one has experience in building this kit? Is it any good?
