SAAB 2000

Just wondering if anyone knows of a model of this commercial bird. I think it's probably one of the best looking turbo prop aircraft I've ever seen. It'd be nice to have one on my desk.

I'd suggest looking at the catalog of vac form kits by Welsh Models as a start, they have a lot of commercial aircraft in their range and you might find a kit of it there.

The closer you'll get to is the Saab 340...

It might just be a 'stretching' exercice...

I have fond memories of the models depicted by these vacuum formed kits. My dad used to fly them! He's on KLM 747-400's now.

Hi Bones sorry but apparently no one makes a kit of this one. have you tried looking for one of those clip together models by a company like wooster or someone similar? they are pretty basic but look nice when built and are pre-painted. good luck with the search.....Greg

That reminds me.. Have a look round Ebay or something. Airlines usually have larger scale (1:72, 1:48-ish) promotional models lying around, and those usually end up being taken home by employees..

Here's one, but be quick: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2189838952&category=14051
