Japenese aircraft interior color

This is the color referred to as "Nakajima cockpit color." It is from the OOP Aeromaster Warbird Acrylic colors. It is the main color used in Nakajima aircraft, both Army & Navy. Hope this helps !Please forgive the dust ! I didn't notice it until after I posted the pic !

For the Zero I built, I also used the metallic blue...but for the Hasegawa Val, I used this paint they had...I think it was interior yellow....it looked kind of light pea green in color....

I just finished the Tamiya 1:48 Zero nick named "Hank". Their interior directions call for a metallic blue. I forget the number but it is a blue green color. Looks really good. I just thought that was an odd color for a fighter. I then found the above website. It appears Tamiya may actually be incorrect. Here it appears that the interior is a chromate or interior green. Also, the cowl is usually painted black. This person suggests it is a dark blue color. Interesting!
