B-66 Destroyer

Does anyone know if the B-66 Destroyer was ever made in 1/48? I've seen a 1/72 but would prefer the larger scale. Trying to build my grandfather's plane, which is gonna be a stretch for this ship modeler.

sahicherson;
well there is 1 made but do you want to pay the cost, as of now no styrene kits are around, go to collect-aire models and they have one that is resin and will cost around $200.00 that's what I was meaning for paying the cost, they make fantastic kits but a little pricy for my blood and pocketbook for now, I'll have to wait until I retire to start getting into that type of model kits
but remember to have fun

Hello, I'm not aware of any kits of the B-66 in 1/48 and there is not a lot of choices in 1/72 either except the EB-66 which is made by Italeri. I have a remake of the old monagram clasics kit of a RB-66A in 1/72 scale but it is not a true 1/72 scale it is actually smaller. But there is a option on this kit to make it in the bomber version. Good luck finding a B-66 in 1/48th . I would like one in 1/72. Brad R.
