Yeah-- that was it-- Pat Novak!! That one's a trip...I haven't heard any Sam Spade or Johnny Dollar yet....the station I listen to here is out of Albany...but I remember listening to that Syracuse station when I was going to school in Oswego.

No rush on the tutorial bud... sorry if it sounded like I was....I start back teaching on Tuesday anyway so my modeling time has limits again.

Is that staion out of Syracuse? There's one from that area that plays OTR and if you have good reception you can hear it all the way over here...

And as I said in the other thread, the fillet deal should get rolling tomorrow.

Anyhoo, I'll see what I can do on the OTR & big band. If you like Jack Benny, have I got a treat for you. Can you say 800+ episodes on nine discs? Tongue [:P]

Was that other Jack Webb show Pat Novak: For Hire? I don't have any Dragnet or Pat Novak, but I can get 'em. As far as detective stories, I'm a Sam Spade and Johhny Dollar kinda guy, myself...

Cool... just found out that a local AM radio station plays OTR every weeknight for an hour....it's pretty neat to hear it just as it was....

Started painting a little on this Mustang...but I really can only go through step 1 as step 2 is putting together the fuselage and I imagine that the scratchbuilding of the fin fillet needs to be done before the fuselage halves go together...

I sure do.... I found myself staying after school for 3 hours at times as I never wanted to stop listening LOL... they are OK to listen to here at home, but my modem limits things.

I always liked Dragnet...and there was another show (I can't remember the name) where Jack Webb is a private eye-- that one has great one liners. I usually listen to the comedy stuff like Abbott and Costello and Jack Benny...and any big band is cool. I would love some stuff on CD....let me know the cost and I'll send some $$ to you to cover it. Thanks.....but no rush-- I know how busy you are and am looking forward to your tutorial when it is done :)

Yes, I did, thanks. Just haven't gotten around to answering...

Anyhoo, yes I do know about live365. You like all that stuff? Old time radio and Big Band? Actually, I seem to kinda remember now that you said that you liked that stuff a LONG time back when I first got on FSM...

What are your fave OTR shows? I have a collection of a few thousand shows and have access to over 25,000 in total. If you'd like, I can burn a few mp3 CD's for you, as well as regular audio stuff.

I also have some big band broadcasts (mostly Glenn Miller Chesterfield shows) and alotta news broadcasts from the war years. Lemmee know if you're interested...

I am just doing the very first few steps as I wait on blackwolf's tutorial on the fin fillet, so I decided to work on the cockpit. Can someone tell me-- was the B/C identical to the D in the cockpit area?? I have pics of the D cockpit, including the nice wooden floor-- but was wondering if anyone knew of any differences...or had any pics of the B/C cockpit area.

Thanks!!
