One piece canopies

I am building a 1/144 scale Hawker Hunter by Revell Germany and want to have an open cockpit. Any suggestions on how to cut a canopy in this scale? What tools to use? Thanks.

Hey Court;
if your canopy has an recessed line in the canopy frames then you could carefully scribe the line until you get it thin enough to cut with an Exacto knife and then position it open, I've done this on a number of 1/72 A/C but never on a kit in that scale, but anything is worth a try
