Who makes the nicest He 111?

I've always liked this plane, which kit maker has the nicest version of it? (doesn't matter the scale)

Without doubt or hesitation, the Revell/Monogram ProModeler 1/48 111 is the finest of the breed ever made.

I second that, the Revellogram kit is a very fine example. And such a fun canopy to mask.

Depends on what type you want as well....

I seem to remember two kits (both Revell??)-- one with torpedoes (was this the one John P and nwilliams speak of?....and the other one I built was the one that had the V-1 underwing. I loved building it and with the V-1 it was like 2 kits in one!

hey Attack;
well it depends on which scale you want, of course Revellograms is the only injected molded in 1/48, but I'd have to say the Italeri's 1/72 is the best for that scale, I've built it and a Matchbox 111 and the Matchbox's didn't have any really good interior, but it was a stop gap for my collection until I came across the Italeri kit, but the best is the 1/48 scale from Revell/Monogram both of their versions

Hi Attackdonut I have to agree with cuda on this one, the Italeri He 111 is a superb kit and the He 111z Zwilling is the best ever in 1/72 the Matchbox kit is ok for beginers but it can be made into a good model with a bit of work. the same goes for the Airfix kit too. Greg

Definitely the Revelogram 1/48 scale. I had an airfix 1/72 years ago and gave it to a friend to build because I didn't want to part with any other kits I had at the time.

As many have already stated, the Monogram 1/48 He 111 is the best kit.

For sure in 1/72 Italeri's one is the best choice.

I just finished Monograms 1/48 a few months ago and other then suppling a crew I can't see how it could be improved. I tend to build out of the box and little if any aftermarket parts.
I got away from masking the nose by using decal strips. Looks great to my failing eyes...

The Monogram kit is the only way to go. The others that I've built weren't nearly as good. Airfix, Matchbox and Italeri all build them at one time or another, but good old Monogram is the best of breed here.
