Greetings, all.
I am getting ready to start this impressive kit, but was wondering if anybody has any experience with the Aires detail set, or has one that they want to get rid of.Wink [;)] Any feedback on the kit would be greatly appreciated.

I bought the kit when it came out, profusely salivated over the open box but still haven't had the time to start it... Shame really, 'cause it does look stunning. And the real thing was stunning.

There is a section in Verlinden Publication's "Modeling WWII Aircraft" Vol 1 featuring a HE 219 in a diorama. I know this is no answer to your question but I believe you'd benefit from the book. It's basically an add for Verlinden but the models are insane! Especially the UHU, darn thing looks like it could take off! I look at them sometimes just to get inspired when I develop "modelers block" Tongue [:P]

I've looked at them a lot lately.
