Thanks, Keyworth & J-Hulk !
J-Hulk - I tried to use the simplicity to accentuate the movement of the aircraft. (pulling away) And since its part of a series, I need to build the tension, power & movement towards a climax.
Sometimes I create complex scenes, and start removing elements until I'm left with ones that I can't remove without altering the theme of the shot.

Pix, I really love this one! Although it's quite simple, there's something really powerful about it. I really get the impression that this magnificent aircraft is blasting full-throttle into the sky to join its comrades.
Good work!

Thanks, ardy, 18co, & nandman !
The series is just beginning. I figure there will be 12 images to the story.
ardy - I use a Canon Power Shot G2 camera (4 megapix)

More good work pix. I'm curious though, what kind of camera are you using?

As always, a great job on the pic! Perhaps you should make a movie out of the series?

The Hasegawa Hayate races to join his squadronmates already in the clouds. Hope you like it, & thanks for letting me share it with you !
I'm trying to think of a name for this series. Any suggestions?
(If you haven't seen the earlier pics - this is a series of images, shown from both sides. Ki84 "Franks" & P-40s, leave their bases, destined for a clash. It will conclude with the landings.
Thanks !
