SBD-5s were mostly in either the three-color scheme of Dk Sea Blue top, mid-blue sides, and white undersurfaces (undersurfaces of folding wing sections also being Dk Sea Blue) or in the antisubmarine scheme of white undersurfaces and fuselage sides with Dark Gull Gray uppers. The light gray lower surface and Blue Gray uppers were phased out in 1943, generally. The white is Insignia White, which is a pale bluish-grayish white, not the stark titanium white.

Again it all comes down to which variant / time frame you are building. If you have any reference books on the Dauntless check it out, if not check your local hobby shop. I'm sure they will help you out.
Jcarlberg is right on the $$ and also not one plane was alike. This is due to weathering and the fading of the paint which is effected by the sun. Again it is all up to you on how you want the plane represented. Good luck..!!! Flaps up, Mike
