Hi Eric,

I take it it's the Windsock Datafile #19 you are refering to..? Those are kind of 'bibles' for WWI aircraft and I'm not aware of any other good source of info for the Oeffag DIII....

Austro-Hungarian Albatros D III, Series 253

Can anyone suggest where I might find drawings and/or pictures of the winter cowling arrangement for the Austro-Hungarian late series 253 Albatros D III with raised Schwarzlose guns?

I specifically need a sketch or photo of the right side of the engine cover. I am familiar with the photos and drawings in the A-H Albatros D III Windsock Data File, but have been trying, unsuccessfully, to find this missing aspect to create an accurate cover for my current modeling project.

I'd appreciate any advice and will gladly return the favor.

Thanks,
Eric
