1/32 engine caddy and missles
Posted by Bones-coa on Friday, October 3, 2003 11:37 AM
Guys, I'm thinking again about my Trumpeter A-10. I've decided to show the cannon outside the aircraft and would like to do the same with one of the engines. I was wondering if you guys had any ideas on an engine caddy for this thing. Does anyone make such a kit?

Also, I know a few companys make 1/48 ordinance kits, but what about 1/32 stuff?

Thanks
Dana

Not sure about the engine caddy, but Eduard makes a very impressive PE upgrade kit for the weapons. It comes with 3 sheets of metal, which is enough to do every possible config of weapons, plus the racks for the plane itself. Well worth the cash.

A commerical aftermarket part? Thats streaching it a bit. AN Engine stand is the perfect type of project which lends it self to scratch. Your best pain free bet is to check some reserch pictures of your plane, especially any showing any ongoing maintance with an enginge on a stand or hoist and then scratch bult what you need out of styrene sheet, wire, balsa, PE whatever.
