Sweet job on the 109!! What I like the most, is that you did not over due it on the weathering!!
I have a few 109s that I want to do and this is one of them. Tempting temptingTongue [:P]

Just wanted to ask you, did you free hand the id bands on the fuselage? Also is that white stripe on the nose a decal or was that painted too?

Mike, thank you for the compliment, as for the RV bands on the fuselage, they are painted. RLM 02 and RLM 23 JG 301 colours. The Spiral is a decal.

Looks good, MM ! The Hasegawa 109s are sweet kits, aren't they ? (except for the pin marks on the oleos & inside the gear doors, & the nasty seam under the oil cooler. I just posted a K-4 here this weekend. Did you happen to see it ?

A capital job on this one -in the top photo I especially appreciate the fuselage area forward of the cockpit - looks so convincingly real!
