Mustang Question
Posted by styrene on Tuesday, October 7, 2003 11:39 AM
Sorry if this has been posted before.
1. Has anyone built the High Planes 1/48 Griffon Mustang World Jet? If so, how was the build? I hear they used the Tamiya Mustang as a base for this kit. Are the modifications already done and ready for assembly, or is a razor saw, knife, drill press, hammer drill, and jack hammer required to build it?
2. I realize it's a limited-run kit, but do you feel $43.00 [:0] is pricey, or worth it for this kit? Please note that I grasp the relationship between one-offs/limited-runs and price. I guess what I'm looking for is quality/pieces & parts/accuracy related to price. Thanks for the info. I'm looking for some unique kits to ask my wife--er--Santa Claus for for Christmas. Smile [:)]

Here's a review I found on this kit. Looks like they plan to release a "Red Baron" mustang also. Smile [:)]
