Dark Anodonic Grey?

This a testors metalizer. Can anyone tell me what this color is supposed to be?

The bottle I have is a very dark, flat gray. I bought it, but have never felt the need to use it. I'm not sure where to use it.

Everytime I've seen anodized it referred to a non stick process. Maybe it's just the finish that darkens the metal making it non-stick. That would be usefull on gun parts to help keep them clean and not jamming as soon. This is purely conjecture on my part though.

If you look at the dark gray areas on airliners wings, That is dark anodic gray
