                        Hello guys. I need some pics of a P-40B. Specifically, I need to see what was on the aft side of the chin area, looking towards the nose--ie, the stuff inside the area that the cowl flaps cover up when they close. Actual pics or ACCURATE models will suffice. I haven't had much luck finding any pics. I thought you all could help me....Smile [:)]

                        Here's a crappy shot from the D&S book that may help you out. Doesn't show the actuators too well, but it's a start.



                        The book also has some shots of this area totally exposed from a fairly recent restoration, if you're interested.
