                        Bell X-1 Cockpit Color?

                        I am building the Revell X-1 and have had trouble finding out what the color of the cockpit is. The kit painting instructions said gray but a model building review in FSM for the Eduard model says interior green. If anyone knows what the "real" one was painted I would like to gain that knowledge. Thanks in advance.Question [?]

                        From all of the pics I've seen, the cockpit looked to be a steel color, possibly with a slight green tint to it. I never go by what Revell says the colors are. I may have to go watch The Right Stuff again...
