I dunno if these folks are actually still in operation, haven't heard anything to indicate that they've gone bye-bye. But they do seem to lay low, so to speak. You hear nothing from them for awhile and then they start shipping kits like mad. I think they may go in cycles. Financial and geographic reasons, maye? Who knows...

As to new kits, I doubt very highly that they're going to come out with anything new. All of their aircraft were acquired from other model companies, the 48th stuff is all ex-Otaki.

Speaking of mold-swapping, some of the Airfix 48th stuff released over the past couple of years is actually ARII. The P-40 and the P-51 being two examples. I don't know who else may be producing these kits under license, you almost never can tell these days. Mold-swapping is as bad as it's ever been, making things very confusing for all but the hardcore plastic fanatics! Tongue [:P]

I was wondering if Arii is still in the modeling business?, because I was going through Great Models website and they are showing a decreasing number of Arii kits in stock anyone out there know whats going on?
