Thanks all for the update. I'll definitely wait for a better kit of the "M".

Ranger, I think it was sometime in the 70's. Maybe the early 80's. It was one of their 'white box' releases and I've never seen it released in any of their other boxes. It can be hard to find sometimes, but they're always around. There's three on evilBay right now.

I seem to remember a Monogram A-4M years ago. The Hobbycraft kit is unsat. I am hoping Hasagawa will include one in their A-4 line some time soon.

Blackwolf,

When did Monogram release an A-4M (Mike)? I know they released an A-4 E/F in the early 70s, then an OA-4 M in the 80s, and they recently released another A-4 E/F that is packaged under license from Hasagawa. But I have not seen or heard anything about an A-4M by Monogram.

I have been waiting for a good A-4M for many years. Thanks to Hobbycraft, I'm still waiting. Who, if anyone makes a good conversion kit?

It's not as nice as Hasegagme's, the cockpit is pretty basic and there's a buncha little errors, inaccuracies and fit problems but it can be built into a nice model.

However, if you wanna build the "Mike", (without a conversion) it's your only choice besides the Monogram kit. Actually, I'd pick the old Monogram kit over Hobbycraft's, or do a kit bash.

If you're not too worried about accuracy, and/or $$$ is a concern, go with the Hobbycraft kit.

Has anyone built Hobbycraft's 1/48 A-4M? Just wondering how the kit is.
