Trumpeter p-38?
Posted by Bones-coa on Tuesday, October 14, 2003 10:22 PM
Sorry if this is old news to everyone, but I just read that Trumpeter will or already has released a 1/32 P-38. I can't find anyone who has it listed for sale so I assume it hasn't been released yet. Anyone have any other info?

I had heard about a P-39 release , but I hadn't heard about a P-38. Is it possible that this is a rerelease of the old Revell kit?

Lots and lots of fantastic stuff on that list that I'd love to see, but whether half of 'em will ever see the light of day remains to be seen.

Hey all,
One of my friends(who owns the local hobby shop) had gone to Vegas for a vaction and at the same time they had a model, slot car, RC show/convention.
I forget which company Trumpeter or Panda models but they had their 32d Corsair, Avenger and Wildcat and they were built ups!! There were a few more too but there was so much that he had mentioned that I forgotSad [:(]Tongue [:P]
From what he could see(BIG sign that read "No Pictures") these kits look amazing and the detail was great for their size.
It will be great to see the 39 done in 32d scaleWink [;)]
Flaps up, Mike

If you would listen to everybody about the inaccuracies, most of the kits on your shelf would not have been built Too Close For Guns, Switching To Finger

Trumpeter doesn't rebox Revell kits (though they've been known to rebox other Asian kits). The P-38, AFAIK, will be a brand new kit.
