They were fun to build when they were new. A little low on the detail end, but a pleasing end result for the time.

Renwal 1/72 Nieuport 17

Hi all!

While I would be hard pressed to part with any portion of my unbuilt plastic mountain, I have recently been given two older kits that I don't think fit with my plans. They are two 1/72 scale Nieuport 17s from Renwal circa 1966 featuring aero-skin fabric covering. I intend to build everything I've got (hahahahahaha) and am not especailly interested in collecting vintage kits of less than great scale value. Does anyone know anything about these? Is there anyone here that these might be of value to? I'm thinking I'll put them up on ebay.
The aero-fabric is interesting. It's a sheet of what looks like silkspan (for those of you who also speak stick and tissue) with the entire color and markings scheme printed on. It is intended that the major sections be cut from this sheet and fixed to the plastic parts (complete with dramatically raised rib detail) to achieve something like a fabric covered effect.
