Gun Tubing
Posted by didfaI on Friday, October 24, 2003 6:44 PM
I want to use tubing for the guns on both 1/32 & 1/48 aircraft. I know about KARAYA and their barrels but would rather do my own. I've also heard of K&E but have been unable to find them.
What size tubing for each scale and where do I find them (K&E) on the web?Eight Ball [8]

Hey, Swanny, thanks for the tip but those pipes/tubes were just a little too large for gun barrels on 1/32, 1/48 aircraft.
Again, thanks for taking the time to reply.

Ahhhh yes the SU-27 Flanker...thats why I asked I get the 2 mixed up....Alot I remember seeing one of those at an airshow at Norfolk a few years back and even then thought it was a MIG-29 until I saw the placard in front of the nose.

Try and use some tubing made by a firm called minimecca (from Spain). I use 1.2mm and 0.5mm for 1/48 scale planes. It`s available from www.rollmodels.com or www.greatmodels.com to name but a few.
Hope this helps.
