A year or so ago I wanted to build Monogram's 1/48th scale B-29, but was bummed to see that it was out of stock. I'm happy to learn that Revell-Monogram plans soon to re-issue the kit, and I'm really happy that they're not going to try to rip us off by having Revell's German subsidiary do it at twice the price with hardly any changes (as they did with the reissued B-36).
Here's my question. R-M, on its website, has provided MINIMAL data on what's in the kit. I suppose that's on purpose, but I was wondering if any of you know if the kit is in any way going to be different from the old kit? Will there be a choice (as with the original kit) of doing the kit as from a conventional unit, or as one of the nuclear birds (Enola Gay, Bock's Car)? Just wondering. I probably will buy the kit, but am wondering if this re-issue will mark any kind of departure from the previous version. Thanks, Terry
