Need Help On Tamiya Fw-190D
Posted by Silverbird01 on Saturday, October 25, 2003 6:13 PM
I'm building Tamiya's 1/48 scale Fw-190D. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to handle the wheel well/rear of the engine omission? Is there a resin correction set or some sort of insert I can get to make this area look right? Thanks!!

The only correction I have found is produced by MDC, located in the UK. They ship free outside of the EC, but I don't know how long they take. They have a resin wheelwell set, cockpit set, & external set, and a reduced price for all 3. They look really good, I plan on getting the complete set (about $). They are listed near the bottom of the page, with pics. Hope this helps !

Thanks Pix!!!
If I didn't find out the kit was wrong, I wouldn't have worried about it. Now I can finally build a correct D-9. I appreciate the help!
