Italeiri/Testors 1/72 F-5E. Is it bad like I've heard?

I have an Italeiri/Testors F-5E, 1/72 scale in my collection. Thinking about building it in a few months. I've heard mention of the Italeri F-5E kits and what was said wasn't too positive.
Does anyone know what problems I can expect with this kit? Is the detail poor/ inaccurate? Is the fit bad?

Thanks for any help guys,

The raised panel lines are enormous. I started to sand them off but gave up for now, hoping that some company will do a new tool. The decals are terrible as well.

The Italeri 1/72 F-5E belongs to the era of raised line panel details but still a good kit. They have details much like Esci's 1/72 F-5As ( only Esci's F-5As have recessed panel lines). I only know of 3 offerings of the F-5E in 1/72 scale. That of Airfix, Heller and of course Italeri which is the best among the three by comparison.
