Interior colour for German WWI planes?
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, October 27, 2003 11:30 AM
Hi,
I'm painting a Revell Fokker DR.I triplane. On the instructions it lists the interior colour as ochre. What colour is that? Is it red-brown? What's the closest Tamyia match? Any help would be appreciated.

Is the out side of your Tripe Red? Or indicated to be red on the instructions? THe reverse side of Doped Fabric would be a lighter shade of the color applied to the outside. The original fabric is a Canvas. (Cream color) SOme planes used a steel tubular frame covered with fabric such as the Fok. with a wood floor and some panels.
