What did you use for rigging?

I may get so drunk, I have to crawl home. But dammit, I'll crawl like a Marine.

The rigging is wire. K&S I beleive. Ussually displayed in two and a half /thrre foot long red cardboard tubes. I've tried the two smallest sizes for this scale. The thininest one has a bit of sag to it when you cut it moe then six inches or so, but makes good control wires and internal strut braceing. The main flying wires I used the next larger size which has a bit more stiffness. It takes a good(Sharp & Hard) cutting pliers and a strong needle nose plier to shape them. Their hard to mark for cutting so sometime s it takes some whittling with the cutting pleirs to get just the right length. Each one is seperately fitted and then glued in place with a drop of a viscous CA and dried with the slightest drop od accelerent.

Looks like you have a lot of patience. It's a good job.

Yes it took a little while , but it was a nice distraction while I fretted over taking the next step in consrtuction, terrified of making an ir-repairible mistake. I took it in stages for the spad. I did the internal strut bracing wires before putting the struts into the bottom wing and attaching the top.
