Carpena Decals
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, November 4, 2003 1:30 PM
Does anyone know if Carpena brand decals are good and if they would be recommended. It seems to be the only manufacturer that makes the decals I need, but I have never heard of the company before. Any feedback would be most appreciated.

Thanks to all,
Paul

I have one of their sets 72.21 USS Forrestal Air Wing 6 in 1/72.

Looks great, well in register, but I haven't tried applying them yet, as the project they were intended for is on the back burner (VAW122 E-2C).

Not much in the way of stencils or national insignia, just a/c specific markings.

Personally I'd give them a thumbs up if it's an obscure subject you're after.

I've had very good experience with the decals. They are in register, thin, and snuggle down on your model with a minimum of preparation.
