Man, that looks totally great. I prefer the look of the Porsche JT with skirts, too. It looks like an armored hippopotamus. With a big gun!

I always liked the look of the Porsche wheels, but the tracks on the Dragon kit was complex, so I opted for the easier Dragon Henschel roadwheels version.

You did a sweet job Anthony. Your style is a little like mine, weathered without overdoing it. Love Jagdtigers.

I have an earlier version of this kit that didn't have the zimmeritt molded in.  Also decided that trying to glue the 6 parts together would just not work so I went a more difficult route and drilled holes in the parts.  Got about 10 link sets assembled before a bigger project hit and have not been able to get back to it yet. 

Yes, I made the kit tracks articulate.  A touch stiff, but fully articulate.  I looked and never discovered the Friul version for the early Porche tank.  Not a biggie, glad to see another early JadgTiger assembled with the correct tracks.

Sorry I just found your build.  I love the way your Jagdtiger looks.  I have a set of those tracks as well.  I was planing on using them on a early version of a KT. 

You are inspiring me to get it ready in the build line up.

I'll tell you right now, you're going to love that Vallejo paint. I've got the set for U.S. Green vehicles. It's wonderful stuff.  :)

 

i have been using Vallejo and Valejo Air for over a year and really like it. i prome everything and have had no lift off with tape or silly putty. i have oil washed and powdered over the paint wothout a sealer with no problems either. it brush paints nicely too. it is also easy to modulate colors due to the built in dropper. i haven't quite got the misting down yet and i have not tried their washes yet.

DO NOT USE WINDEX TO CLEAN YOUR AIRBRUSH. spent the few bucks and get the Vallejo thinner and Vallejo airbrush cleaner.

like the build. i built a Dragon 1/72 Porsche and really enjoyed the build. i rarely do ww2 armor but that damned 1/25 Jagdpanther jeeps calling my name. like i really need another huge kit in the stash.

Agreed, Wayne. I wish I had some of this stuff sooner. Its almost magical lol. I clean it with Dawn and tap water without a single issue. It even lays down perfectly when I dilute with a touch of Dawn and tap water. The stuff is amazing in comparison with Model Master enamels.

I've been off the forms for awhile and been wondering about this build, it came out really nice I like the subtle weathering. 

  I'm late to the party, but that tank is a beast and looks awesome!  Great build!
