Hey Dave ... the Su-122 from Tamiya (kit #35093) was first released in 1977.
It has been re-released a few times since then. Tamiya U.S. lists it as being in re-issue at this time so I think if you check around a bit, you'll be able to find it on-line for a reasonable price.

Some kit collectors look at the issue date for the kit as well as the box, perhaps that's what's meant by rare, OOP. This is probably the first issue of the kit.

Thanks guys

I think it is the first issue he got, well i've got it now!

I decided to buy as it comes with loads of extras, Aber fenders, Eduard detail, CMK barrel + mantlet and Tracks.

He says the tracks are from ACCURATE ARMOUR but i cant them on their website. got the lot for £34 which i think is about £7 short of what it would cost buying on line.

Do you think i did ok?

I seem to be getting carried away with getting back in to kit bashing again!!! I will post some pic soon, promise.Mischief [:-,]
