Just know that German antenna from WWII don't flex. They only bend from the base.

The antenna was a hollow pipe type affixed to a base. It was 2 meters long and tapered to a tip. The necessary flexibility not to break the rod through snagging was supposed to be provided by the rubber base.

Here's one type of a base example........

I agree with Shermanfreak! Especially if they have to be bent and tied down. There is very little stress involved with the bend.

Whisker off of a vinyl paint brush cut to length. Something I've used for years. One $0.99 brush will last a life time.

Use left-over plastic sprues from your models and heat-strech them over a candle.

Being new to the hobby, i am wondering if anyone has any tips for making radio aerials for ww2 german afvs out of common household items. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thankyou.
