Academy Models
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, November 18, 2003 2:27 AM
Hello all!

After a short break, I am back in "touch" with the forum (finally)! I just wanted to drop everyone a line and tell ya, I have access to Academy Models CHEAP! I am not tryng to make a profit, just trying to help fellow modellers out a little. If you would like any Academy Models, let me know via my email ( hattals@yahoo.com ) and I will let you know the price at no profit to me. We may even be able to work at a trade. I model all types of WWII AFV's let me know, again I am not trying to make a profit.

Excellent! The only Korean I know is "anyong haseyo" and "kamsa hamnida."
I've only spent a little time around Seoul, but I found it to be quite fascinating. It's only about an hour and a half from Osaka, so I really ought to get on over there and get a better look!
Academy kits are quite reasonable here in Japan, as well. I recently picked up the Achilles for 2,700 yen (about $24 USD). How does that compare to prices in Korea?

Tiger W/full interior is $18 and the Achilles is $16. I can get most kits for under $20, in fact I have not seen any over $18.00, I can use APO shipping so that also helps to keep cost down.
