AJ, good advice.  I have bought lots of individual sprues off eBay.

However, the original post was from '08.  I doubt he is still looking for the sprue.

There's at least one guy on eBay who is parting out sprues for the Takom M3 Lee kits. He may be doing the same for other kits.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Hi fellas

Just bought a Tamiya T-55 of ebay, item arrived checked it and sprue D is missing and the seller is disputing it......Banged Head [banghead]

But anyway does anyone know where I can get the sprue from?  I've tried Tamiya Europe and the link is to The Hobby Company, which a google of takes you to an Amazon link??

Any ideas?

thanks in advance

I lost the polycap set on my T-72M1 and I ordered it from our hobby shop. It arrived in less than three weeks from Tamiya Japan.

Thanks for all the pointers guys, I've mailed Hannants, posted a wanted on Armorama, and will try contacting Tamiya.  Managed to get through to the Hobby Company and they'd do the sprue for £10.50 p+p......we'll see

Strange i happen to have that kit in front of me right now . I got a kit off ebay (M2A1 Abrams) and it was missing the upper hull . I emailed Tamiya and told them it was missing . I did not state exactly where i got the kit . It took alot of emails back and forth , but they finally sent me the part for free and no shipping costs . Try the Tamiya site and you should be able to select your country and email from there . The site is confusing on the parts section though .

Good Luck

Your best bet is the European importer, try Hannant's and they should be able to hook you up with the importer.

Tamiya USA is the US importer and they will happily sell whatever you want, and I have very good success with them, but since you are out of the US I am sure they would refer you to your countries importer.

Good luck.....its a nice kit
