i am not familiar w/ that exact kit, but i am working on a Tamiya PzKpfw IV Ausf D,
and there are a number of extra pieces for the desert version.

I don't know anything about that kit either, but it is a very common practice for the kit maker to include extra pieces that are for a different version of the model. For instance, I bought a kit a while back and it had two barrels in it. Often, they have two or even three full sets of wheels. That's probably where your extra parts come from. Just grab a shoe box, or similar, and start saving those babies up. You never know when they will come in handy. (I've seen some guys on here say they've put together a full tank from just their spares box!!)

Good luck, and again, welcome to the forum. We're glad you're here.

Welcome to the forum fireflygunner 20. I would also save those extra parts for future projects.

If this is the 1/72 scale Panzer IV, then the extra hull parts are from their early munitionspanzer model.

Sorry I cant elaborate on this, but the Munitionspanzer went along with their Karl Morser, which was an old release. I haven't built this kit, I know this soely from the fact that I've built Hasegawa's Wirbelwind. I'm sure that somewhere on the net there are pics of the Munitionspanzer.

bill:
that's the hasegawa panzer iv ausf g kit i built !
it's a good one,,, and i was wondering what the extra parts were 4 myself, was going 2 post the same question a couple of weeks back !

i 'm thinking that if u use the lower hull & wheels from the kit and the upper hull & spare parts for the munitions panzer u'll still come up short a few parts...
how do u feel about scratchbuilding in 1/72 ? Wink [;)]
hope ur having a good holiday !
